Ingredients
  

  • Chicken - 500 gms
  • Onion paste - 4 onion
  • Green cardamom - 4
  • Bay leaf - 1 - 2
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Khus khus paste / poppy seeds paste - 2 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Clarified butter - 1/2 cup
  • Whole black pepper - 2 - 3
  • cloves - 2 - 3
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  • Mace - 1 piece
  • Black cardamom -
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat one tbsp clarified butter in a pan
  • Add chicken pieces and saute for 10 mins.and strain it,
  • Again heat clarified butter in a pan.
  • Add bay leaf,green cardamom,black cardamom,mace,cloves,whole black pepper and cinnamon to crackle.
  • Add onion paste and fry till brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and khus khus paste and saute for 4 - 5 mins
  • Add chicken pieces and mix well.
  • Add one cup of water and cook cover till 15 - 20 mins
  • Add cream and mix well.
  • Serve hot with rice
