Iyengar Bakery Style Kara Biscuit
About Iyengar Bakery Style Kara Biscuit
When I was a child I remember my 'Chandru Periyappa'(uncle) and I used to go for walk daily and while returning home we used to cross an Iyengar bakery. I always used to look forward to come across that placeรฐลธยคยฅรฐลธยคยฅ to smell the aroma of multiple items getting baked, buns, nankhatais and these Kara biscuits. I daily told my peripa to get me nankhatais or Kara Biscuits...sometimes he would, (when he was in a good mood and sometimes he wouldn't รฐลธหโรฐลธหโ!) Now I am a big girl and I can bake my own Kara Biscuits. Here's the recipe guys which is almost like the bakery ones but I made in whole wheat flour so there might be a difference in taste....รฐลธหยรฐลธหย but you are going to love themรฐลธหโน I betรฐลธหล รฐลธหล
