Recipe Notes

Expert Tips for Perfect Savory Egg & Oat Muffins

  • For extra flavor, toast the rolled oats in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes before adding them to the batter. This enhances their nutty flavor.
  • Feel free to experiment with different vegetables! Bell peppers, spinach, zucchini, or mushrooms would all be delicious additions.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or more green chilies to the batter.
  • These muffins are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven before serving.
