Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cup Rolled Oats quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
- 1 tsp Rasam Powder
- 1.5 tsp Salt or to taste
Vegetables
- 1 cup Vegetables finely chopped carrots, and onion. avoid watery vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers., beans (green beans or kidney beans), bell peppers (capsicum), mixed
Other Ingredients
- 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Aluminum Foil to cover the baking tray
Instructions
Prepare the Vegetable Oat Mix
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
- Add the chopped vegetables to the prepared tray.
- Add the rolled oats, rasam powder, salt, and vegetable oil to the tray with the vegetables.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
Bake the Mix
- Let the mixture marinate for at least 1 hour (up to 3 hours is fine).
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking tray.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the oats and vegetables are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove the tray from the oven and let the mixture cool completely to room temperature.
- Store in an airtight container.
Prepare a Serving
- To serve, add the desired amount of the oat mix to a mug or bowl.
- Pour in enough hot water to cover the oat mix, and let it sit for 2 minutes to soften.
