Recipe Notes

Additional Tips

  • For extra crunch, lightly toast the bread slices before adding the stuffing—this helps them retain crispiness even after cooking.
  • If preparing in advance for a party or tiffin, let the sandwich samosas cool on a wire rack to prevent them from becoming soggy due to steam buildup.
  • Add a tangy twist by spreading a thin layer of tamarind or mint-coriander chutney inside the bread before stuffing, enhancing both the flavor and the juiciness.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread and ensure the stuffing ingredients, such as moong dal and peas, are cooked until soft to help bind the filling together.
