Pineapple & Semolina Halwa

  • Semolina – ½ Cup
  • Ghee – ½ Cup
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Pineapple – ½ Cup Chopped
  • Raisins – 5 to 7
  • Pistachios – 5 to 7 sliced
  • Cashews – 8 to 10 sliced
  • Water – Around 1 ½ Cups
  • Green Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
  • Saffron – few strands dipped in 1 tbsp warm water


  • Heat ghee in kadhai and add semolina. Cook and stir continuously till it turns golden brown.
  • Add chopped pineapple. Mix well. Cover it with the lid and let it cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Now add water and saffron water. Mix it and again cover it with the lid and cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Add sugar and mix. Stir continuously till the moisture evaporates. 
  • Add green cardamom powder, raisins and mix well.
  • Garnish with the sliced cashews and pistachios. Serve hot.
