Pasta Pepper Salad

  • 200 gm penne pasta
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 3 to 4 garlic cloves
  • 25 gm mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of oil


  • Boil the pasta in enough water, in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles on full flame. Drain and let stand in a colander
  • In a non stick pan, heat the oil. Add the garlic and the bell peppers. Toss just for a bit till they are half cooked.
  • Toss in the pasta Add in the salt and black pepper powder.
  • Toss in the vinegar. Sprinkle the cheese and shut off the flame. Keep covered for a couple of minutes and serve .
