Ingredients
Dalia
- ½ cup Wheat Dalia
Spices
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds roasted
- ½ tsp Pepper black, crushed

- 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Dry roast the wheat dalia in a pan over medium heat until fragrant. This enhances its nutty flavor.
- Bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in the roasted dalia. Cover the pan and let it sit for 1 hour to absorb the water and soften.
- While the dalia is soaking, heat the mustard oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and green chili. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped beetroot to the pan and sauté for a few minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in the roasted cumin seeds, crushed black pepper, and salt. Sauté for another minute to combine the flavors.
- Add the soaked dalia to the pan with the vegetables and spices. Mix well to combine.
