Ingredients
- 115 gm Chocolate or sweet semi sweet chopped
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil th
- 3/4 cup Almond Meal th
- 1/4 cup Yogurt th
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt of, or as per taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 180* C and line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a bowl, place chopped chocolate and melt on a double boiler or you can use a microwave to do the job. Pour in the olive oil and stir both the ingredients together
- together using a wire whisk. When the batter is room temperature,add in the yogurt, vanilla extract and coconut sugar. Mix all the ingredients well. In another bowl,mix almond meal along with baking powder and salt. Make sure you use another clean
- wire whisk to mix these dry ingredients well. Tip the dry ingredients into the chocolate mix and use a rubber spatula to combine the batter.
- Don’t over work the mix and pour into the prepared baking tray and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the wire rack before you cut and serve. Your healthy brownies are ready to enjoy with teatime 🙂
Recipe Notes
- Use coconut sugar 1:1 in any way you would regular sugar, including in tea or coffee or baking and cooking.
