Recipe Notes
Additional Tips
- For a visually striking presentation, freeze slices of citrus fruits and whole berries into your ice cubes before adding them to the drink—these not only keep your tea cold longer but also subtly infuse extra flavor as they melt.
- To avoid dilution, brew a small batch of extra-strong tea and use it to make “tea ice cubes” that you can add to your glass without watering down the flavor as they melt.
- If you prefer a less sweet beverage, replace sugar with honey or jaggery syrup, adding it while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves fully and imparts a subtle, earthy note that complements the fruit juices.
- For an adult twist, add a splash of gin or vodka; the botanicals in gin, in particular, pair wonderfully with the citrus and berry notes in this iced tea.
