Ingredients
For the Panna Cotta
- 1 cup Heavy Cream can substitute with full-fat coconut cream for a richer coconut flavor, fresh
- 1 cup Coconut Milk canned, full-fat
- 1/2 cup Coconut Sugar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsp Gelatin powdered; adjust amount depending on bloom strength
- 1/4 cup Water cold, for blooming gelatin
For Serving
- 1 Pear for garnish; about 1 medium pear, ripe
Instructions
Prepare the Gelatin
- Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over the cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes to soften.
Make the Panna Cotta Mixture

Infuse with Flavor
- Remove from heat and stir in the honey and vanilla extract. Gently squeeze out excess water from the bloomed gelatin and add it to the warm mixture. Stir until completely dissolved.
Assemble and Chill
- Chop the pear into small pieces. Divide the pear pieces amongst serving glasses or ramekins. Pour the panna cotta mixture over the pears. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Serve and Enjoy
- Garnish with additional chopped pear slices before serving. Enjoy!

Expert Tips
- For a richer coconut flavor, use full-fat coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
- Adjust the amount of coconut sugar to your preference. Taste the mixture before adding it to the serving glasses and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Use high-quality vanilla extract for the best flavor. Pure vanilla extract will provide a much superior aroma and taste compared to imitation.
- For a more elegant presentation, use small, clear glasses or ramekins. You can also layer the panna cotta with additional fruits or berries for extra flavor and visual appeal.
