Aloo chat is very popular street food in North India,West Bengal and Odisha.It can be served as a snack, a side dish or a light meal. It is made from boiled and fried cubed potatoes served with chat masala. It is a versatile dish that has many regional variations.

  • 2 cubes Potatoes medium boiled chopped into fine
  • 1/2 cup White Peas boiled
  • 1/4 cup Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Carrot grated
  • 2 tbsp Hung Curd
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder roasted cuminâ and
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chat Masale 1/4Tsp chat masale
  • Green Chillies finely chopped as per personal preference
  • 1 tsp Tamarind Chutney
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste


  • Take a mixing bowl and all ingridents and mix together except sev and tamarind chutney.
  • Transfer your aloo chat to your serving plates or any thing according to your personal preferences.
  • Garnish with some coriander leaves ,sev and tamrind chutney serve!!
