Braided Pesto Bread with herbs is easy to make at home and perfect for parties . it is crunchy from outside and soft, flavourful inside.

Ingredients
- for bread dough :-
- 4 cup maida all purpose flour
- 1 and 3/4 cup of warm water
- 2 tbsp milk
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp basil
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- for pesto paste:-
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp garlic pods
- 2 green chillies
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- for flour paste:-
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour/ maida
- 1 tbsp water

Instructions
- soak yeast in warm milk . keep it aside for about 10 minutes.
- in a bowl mix all ingredients mention in bread dough ingredients.
- once yeast has been activated then mix it into bread dough ingredients.
- now knead it for about 10 minutes then keep it in a dish to rise for about an hour.
- making Pesto Paste:- In a grinder make a paste of garlic, basil leaves, green chillies. mix salt and olive oil in it. pesto paste is ready.
- knead again the risen dough for 2 minutes. Roll it into a big chapati/circle shape of about 1/2 inch thickness. spread pesto paste.
- Now fold it and cut from the middle lengthwise and stop before reaching the end. the two parts remained joined.
- now fold one part over another.
- at the end join the two corners with help of flour paste. For flour paste mix flour with water .
- Bake it at 190 degree C for 35 minutes.
- after baked brush it with melted butter.
- Braided Pesto Bread is now ready. Serve it with a cup of coffee.
