Dates, Figs And Carrot Milkshake (Energy Booster)

This is very very healthy milkshake for breakfast . As we know carrot , figs and dates have so many good properties. So this shake is full of of vitamins and iron . It is very very nutritious for kids as well as for us .

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup seeded and chopped dates
  • 3-4 figs
  • 1 glass milk
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions
 

  • Soak figs and dates in lukewarm water. For about 20 minutes.
  • In a grinder or juicer put dates and figs along with water. Process it
  • Now add grated carrot, milk and chocolate syrup as per your taste, process again. Healthy milkshake is ready.
  • Line glasses with chocolate syrup and pour milkshake into them. Serve chilled.

Notes

Instead of chocolate syrup you can use other flavour like blueberry or strawberry syrup for a change .

  1. IMO maple syrup would play off the other flavors much better than chocolate syrup would. I’d also swap the milk for full fat yogurt, more nourishing and satisfying. Ice cubes for added body and texture. A pinch of spice (a premixed spice blend like apple pie or pumpkin pie spice blend for convenience). and top prepared with walnuts for healthy fat and crunch. Which, I know, swapping milk for yogurt, it’s technically now a smoothie :.)5 stars
