Just for a mention Chia Seeds are a species of the Mint family Lamiaceae native to Mexico. It was used by the Mexican Aztecs where it was as important as the Maize crop and currently used in nutritious drinks and as food! There are certain things to remember about Chia Seeds : They absorb liquids and become 4 times their size.So they should NEVER be eaten raw as it might cause choking! They should be soaked before using preferably overnight for wonderful results! They can be mixed with flour (After soaking) to make breads or mixed with fruit purees for the most nutritious and delicious jams ever! I am a passionate foodie who loves to cook, serve and love to see people relishing my creations. Since the time I was small I used to wonder about the 'how' of things in the kitchen.

Then when I finally ventured as an unprofessional kitchen helper for my late grand-mother (a par excellent cook in her own generation) I was fascinated by the amount of stuff you could do to a simple milk and rice to form a most yummy pudding.

Here I am sharing my recipes with a will to learn from some and educate others as well!
