Chocolate Butterscotch Milkshake

A heavenly concoction of chocolate with salted butterscotch sauce which takes the simple milkshake to a different level and most apt for Valentines Day celebration. It's chocolatey, icy, and slightly salty and that makes a perfect blend to impress our family members or loved ones for special occasions like Valentine's Day.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup cold milk
  • 4 scoops chocolate ice-cream
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tbsp butterscotch sauce
  • Whipped cream as needed
  • Chocolate morsels for garnish
  • Chocolate syrup for garish
  • For Butterscotch Sauce---
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup full cream
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract/imitation vanilla
  • Dash of salt

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the Butterscotch Sauce---Melt butter in a heated saucepan. Add cream, sugar, and salt. Bring it to a boil and then reduce heat. Cook for 3-4 minutes till it thickens stirring constantly. Switch off gas and add the vanilla. Whisk well.
  • Blend milk, cocoa powder, ice-cream, butterscotch sauce, chocolate syrup till smooth.
  • To assemble the milkshake---Pour the chocolate blend in a tall glass. Top it with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup and butterscotch sauce. Sprinkle some chocolate morsels/chips as garnish.
