Aloo Methi paratha is made by stuffing potatoes in a dough kneaded with methi. It's a fulfilling breakfast recipe for kids

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Potatoes Boiled
  • 1 handful Methi
  • 1/2 cup Paneer crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green chili finely chopped
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • Red chili powder as per taste
  • 1to 2 teaspoon Chat Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for making paratha

Instructions
 

  • Heat a wok. Add little oil .add green chili garlic & hing. When garlic turns brown add methi leaves & salt. Cook for 5-6 min
  • Mash potatoes. Add paneer chat Masala salt & red chili powder. Mix well. Keep it aside for stuffing
  • Take 2 cups flour. Add some salt & cooked methi. Knead a soft dough
  • Now take a lemon size ball of this dough. Roll it to 3 cm diameter
  • Put a tablespoon of stuffing in it. Bring all sides together & roll it to 6-7 cm diameter
  • Heat a tawa. Apply little oil. Put rolled paratha on it cook for 1 min on med flame turn upside down. Cook for another 1 min
  • Apply oil on both sides. Cook both sides again for 1 min. It's done
  • Serve with curd & pickle

Notes

  • We are using methi leaves only. No soft or hard branches
  • Paratha should be made on low to medium
