Matar ke parathe is delicious whole wheat flat bread stuffed with a spiced mashed peas filling.

Ingredients
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 &1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1 inch ginger
- 4 green chilies
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds
- Water as required
- Clarified butter

Instructions
- Grind green peas, ginger and green chillies into fine paste.
- Take all ingredients together in large bowl and make soft dough by adding water.
- Take small portion ball from dough roll it into six inch diameter disc. Heat a non-stick tawa. Put the matar thepla on the tawa and cook on both sides by smearing it with clarified butter till done.
- Serve this hot in breakfast or at teatime.
