A simple green colour snack prepared from methi ( fenugreek leaves), mint leaves, coriander leaves mixed with the gram flour and rice flour.

Ingredients
  

  • For paste -
  • ½ cup fenugreek leaves
  • ¼ cup mint leaves
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves
  • 2 - 3 green chilli
  • ½ inch ginger
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup oil
  • For sev -
  • ½ cup rice flour
  • 150 gm gram flour
  • ½ tsp chat masala
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 cup oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • In a mixer jar add tri colour leaves, green chilli, ginger, lemon juice, salt , water and blend it.
  • In a bowl add rice flour, gram flour, chat masala, oil, sesame seeds and mix well.
  • Now our puree is ready.
  • Knead this adding the puree little by little.
  • Make the dough and keep it aside.
  • Grease the chakli press fitted with sev attachment and put the dough into it.
  • Heat the oil in a wok.
  • Press the chakli press into hot oil and deep fry till golden and crisp.
  • Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Let it cool.
  • Store in air tight container.
  • Serve with hot tea or coffee.
