Yogurt Panacotta With Cherry Sauce (A 65 Calorie Dessert)

Ingredients
- 250 ml 1 cup skimmed milk
- 100 1/2 cup grams low fat yogurt (home made dahi works great)
- 1/2 packet 4 grams Agar agar flakes or powder
- 1 +1/4 cups water
- 4 tsp honey
- 100 grams 1/2 cup fresh pitted cherries or any other berries of choice
- Salt - a tiny pinch
- 2-3 drops vanilla extract or essence
Instructions
- Start by soaking the Agar agar flakes in 1 cup of water of 30 minutes.
- Next heat the Agar agar and water till all the agar agar has completely melted in the water.
- Now to this water add in the milk and bring to a boil, switch off the flame and set aside.
- Now whisk the yogurt in a bowl and pour in the hot milk mixture into the yogurt, whisk to combine well, here also add in the vanilla extract, honey and a tiny pinch of salt .
- Pour into four serving glasses and refrigerate for two hours once the mixture comes to room temperature.
- To make the cherry sauce, in a saucepan add fresh pitted cherries along with 1/4 cup water and allow to cook on a low flame, once the cherries turn into a pulp and all the water evaporates switch off the gas and allow to cool down.
- Spoon the prepared cherry sauce over the cool pannacotta, garnish with fresh cherries and a few mint leaves.
- Serve cool.
