Ingredients
 

  • 250 ml Skimmed Milk
  • 100 cup Yogurt or dahi low fat home made dahi works great
  • 1/2 packet Packet 4 grams agar agar flakes or powder
  • 1 cups Water
  • 4 tsp Honey
  • 100 gm Cherries or berries fresh pitted or any other berries choice
  • 1 tsp Salt tiny, or as per taste
  • 2-3 drops Vanilla Extract or essence or essence

Instructions
 

  • Start by soaking the Agar agar flakes in 1 cup of water of 30 minutes.

  • Next heat the Agar agar and water till all the agar agar has completely melted in the water.

  • Now to this water add in the milk and bring to a boil, switch off the flame and set aside.

  • Now whisk the yogurt in a bowl and pour in the hot milk mixture into the yogurt, whisk to combine well, here also add in the vanilla extract, honey and a tiny pinch of salt .

  • Pour into four serving glasses and refrigerate for two hours once the mixture comes to room temperature.
  • To make the cherry sauce, in a saucepan add fresh pitted cherries along with 1/4 cup water and allow to cook on a low flame, once the cherries turn into a pulp and all the water evaporates switch off the gas and allow to cool down.

  • Spoon the prepared cherry sauce over the cool pannacotta, garnish with fresh cherries and a few mint leaves.
  • Serve cool.

Recipe Notes

Instead of vanilla extract feel free to use any other berry flavoured extract or essence of choice.
