Usual Paratha with a different taste.  This time for a change I added onion paste which resulted in great hit. Here is the recipe for the Healthy, Spicy and Delicious Broccoli Paratha...

Ingredients
  

  • Broccoli florets 15 to 20
  • Onions 2 & Green chillies 5
  • Coriander seed Powder 1 tea spoon Dhaniya powder and Salt to taste
  • Oil 3 tea spoons & Cumin seeds 1/2 tea spoon

  • Remove the stem of the broccoli florets and wash them well. Put them in a food processor or blender or mixie and make them small grains and keep aside. If you are putting in the mixie just give 2 turns.
  • Then put the onions and green chillies in a jar and make them a coarse paste without adding water.
  •  Heat a wok with oil. Saute it with cumin seeds. Now add the onion paste and required salt and fry till they fry well.
  •  Add the coriander seed powder and stir well. Add the broccoli and keep sauteing.

  •  In medium flame keep frying till the water dries out and the stuff becomes thick without water content. Allow them to cool.
  • Make chapathi dough as usual with whole wheat flour, water and less salt. Knead them to soft dough.
  •  Take a small lemon size ball and roll to chapathi. Spread 2 tb spoons of the broccoli stuff on it.
  •  Make another chapathi like of the same size and place it on the one that has the stuff. Press the edges gently with hand and roll it to thin rotis.
  • Cook them on both sides with ghee or oil in a tawa and serve with curd or pickle.
