  • Add chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft and lightly mashed with no raw smell.

Cooking the Paneer

  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well on low heat.
  • Add crumbled paneer and gently mix. Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until the paneer is heated through and looks soft and evenly mixed.
  • Switch off the heat once the bhurji looks moist, fully cooked, and ready to eat. Do not overcook to avoid dryness. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.
