Ingredients
- 200 grams Paneer Fresh, crumbled
- 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
- 1 medium Tomato Finely chopped
- 1 tsp Oil Any neutral cooking oil like Mustard Oil etc.
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder Adjust to taste
- 3/4 tsp Salt Or as required
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Instructions
Preparing the Base
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until it turns soft and translucent.
- Add chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft and lightly mashed with no raw smell.
Cooking the Paneer
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well on low heat.
- Add crumbled paneer and gently mix. Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until the paneer is heated through and looks soft and evenly mixed.
- Switch off the heat once the bhurji looks moist, fully cooked, and ready to eat. Do not overcook to avoid dryness. Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves.
