Ingredients
- 2 cup Idli Batter
- 1 tbsp Bell Peppers finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp Carrot finely chopped
- 1/2 tbsp Tomatoes finely chopped
- Olives finely chopped
- 1 pinch Vegetables or salt salt for the
- 1 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder haldi
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds rai
- 2 tsp Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan add add mustard seeds.
- Once they splutter, add the veggies and saute for 1 minute. Add the turmeric powder and salt and cook for 1 more minute.
- Now add the schezwan sauce. Mix well and take off the stove. Add to the idli batter and mix well.
- Pour the batter in idli moulds and let it steam for 15 minutes. Your schezwan idli is ready
Recipe Notes
Dont cook the veggies and sauce for too long. Keep it short to retain the flavour.

- For extra crunch and flavor, pan-fry or shallow-fry the idli cubes until golden before tossing them in the Schezwan sauce and veggies—this step helps the idlis hold their texture and soak up the sauce better.
