Ingredients
Crust & Sauce
- 1 Pizza Dough store-bought or homemade (about 12 inches)
- 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
Cheese & Toppings
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded mild
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 4 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 Shallot thinly sliced
Eggs & Greens
- 4 Eggs large
- 1/2 cup Baby Arugula
- 1 tsp Olive Oil for brushing the dough
Instructions
Prepare the Pizza
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch rectangle.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and transfer it to a baking sheet.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the cheddar and parmesan cheeses over the sauce, followed by the crumbled bacon and sliced shallots.
Bake & Add Eggs
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is lightly golden.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and carefully crack the four eggs evenly over the top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 6-8 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the yolks are still slightly runny.
