Avocado Base

Aromatics & Vegetables

  • 1/4 Onion finely chopped, red
  • 2 tbsp Onions finely chopped, green, white and green parts separated
  • 1/2 Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/4 Bell Peppers finely chopped (any color)
  • 1/2 Jalapeño Pepper finely chopped, remove seeds for less heat

Prepare the Avocados

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium-sized bowl.

Mash and Season

  • Lightly mash the avocados with a fork. Add the lime juice immediately to prevent browning. Stir to combine.

Add Remaining Ingredients

  • Add the minced garlic, finely chopped red onion, bell pepper, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado. Gently fold all the ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
