- 1 bowl All-Purpose Flour maida
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup Butter melted
- 1 cup Carrot finely chopped
- 1 cup Cabbage finely chopped
- 1 bowl Potato mashed
- 1 tsp Pepper black, crushed
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Herbs
- 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
- 2 Eggs
- Bell Peppers red
- 1/2 cup Spinach or paste
- Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
Prepare the Crust
- Combine flour, baking powder, melted butter, and pureed spinach in a bowl. Add water gradually until a soft dough forms. Set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables
- Melt butter in a pan. Add finely chopped carrots and cabbage. Sauté until slightly softened. Stir in tomato puree, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and mixed herbs. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Assemble and Bake the Tart
- Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease a tart pan. Roll out the dough and press it into the pan, pricking the base with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes.
Layer the Filling
- Remove the tart shell from the oven. Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the base. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked vegetables. Top with mozzarella cheese.
Finish and Bake
