Rava Kesari
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava or suji suji
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 cup Water and half
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp cashews
- 1 tbsp Almonds
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 1-2 Saffron or kesar kesar strand
- 3 tbsp Clarified Butter or ghee ghee

Instructions
- Heat clarified butter / ghee in a pan.
- Add cashew nuts and raisins fry and strain it.
- In the same ghee / clarified butter add the rava and roast on medium flame for 10 - 15 mins until brown in color and give out fragrance.
- Heat sugar and water in a pan,
- Keep it medium flame for 10 mins.
- Add saffron / kesar in it.
- When it gets sticky it means syrup is ready.
- Add roasted rava,cardamom powder and fried cashew nuts and raisins and m ix well.
- The rava kesari is ready to eat.
