Rajasthani Churma Recipe | Malida Recipe | Marwadi Churma | Churma Recipe

Ingredients
- Whole Wheat Flour / Atta – 1 Cup
- Melted Ghee – 3 tsp
- Water as required for kneading
- Powdered Sugar – 1/4 Cup
- Cardamom Powder / Elaichi Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dry Fruits Sliced Almond, Cashews, Pista etc for garnishing
- Ghee for deep frying
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, add whole-wheat flour and 2 tsp of melted ghee.
- Mix it well and add water as required to knead the hard dough, do not add too much of water so that it becomes too soft.
- Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 20 min.
- Take small portion of the dough and start making muthiya with the help of fingers pressing one side as shown in video.
- Repeat the same to make all muthiyas.
- Turn on flame, heat Ghee in a pan, and then add muthiyas in preheated ghee.
- Fry it on low flame for 10 min & then on medium flame until it turns light golden from both the sides, take it out on Kitchen towel.
- You can store these muthiyas in fridge for up to 15 days in an airtight container.
- Use three Muthiyas and blend it into fine consistency.
- Add powdered sugar 1/4th cup, cardamom (elaichi) powder 1/4th tsp and melted ghee 1 tsp to the Churma and mix well.
- For garnishing, add sliced dry fruits over Churma and serve.
- Served as Prasad for God Ramdev Baba or tastes yummy with Dal Baati also.
