Prawn Curry
Ingredients
- Prawns 250 gms
- Tomato 1 no cut
- leaves Coriander
- Mustard Oil 2 tblspn
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Turmeric Powder half tspn
- Cumin Seed half tspn
- Onion 1 no chopped
- Green Chillies 1 no
- red chili powder half spoon
- Water 4 cups
- Cumin Seeds 1 spoon, or jeera jeera
- Chilli 5 no red dry
- Ginger small 1 no
- 10 cloves Garlic no
- Onion 4 no chopped
- Cardamom Seeds 4 no
- Cinnamon 1 no, or dalchini dalchini

Instructions
- Clean the prawns in water.
- Sprinkle some turmeric powder over the prawns and fry in two spoon mustard oil till it turns golden brown & keep aside.
- Add half spoon jeera/cumin seed to the same oil & after the seeds crackle add the chopped onion.
- In between grind the ingredients together for the wet masala.
- After the onions turn brown,add half of the above wet masala & fry till it gets brown. Â Â Â
- Add one chopped tomato & one cut green chilli,to it add half spn red chilli powder. Â Â Â
- After the masala is fried properly,add four cups of water. Â Â Â
- After this mixture gets boiled properly add the fried prawns,salt & turmeric.
- Cover with lid & cook on medium flame for 20-25 mins. Â Â Â
- Â Check in between while the prawns are getting cooked. Â Â Â
- Garnish with coriander leaves & serve with steamed rice.
