This recipe is a healthy snack option which can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. These oat squares use healthy ingredients like flax and peanut butter and tasty and healthy at the same time. These delicious Peanut Butter And Flax Oat Squares With Chocolate Chips is a healthy treat to munch on during those quick hunger pangs. It's weekend already and these are excellent to stock up in your refrigerator for your whole family. This quick, no-bake treat is just too good to pass up!

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 1.5 cups Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 to 2.5 tablespoons Ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chips (add or reduce as per taste)
How to cook?
  1. Line a pan with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Take a mixing bowl and add the oats and ground flax into it. Combine well.
  3. Melt the honey and peanut butter together until it’s smooth enough to mix with the oats. [You could do this in the microwave for approximately 1 to 2 minutes because it’s faster]
  4. Combine the mixture with the oats and flax and mix well.
  5. Allow it to cool for sometime. Add the chocolate chips and stir well. [Add the chocolate chips only after the mixture has cooled, or else the chocolate will melt]
  6. Pour it into your prepared pan, and store it in the refrigerator/ freezer for a few hours until it’s set enough to cut into squares.
  7. Store them in the refrigerator to keep them firm.
