Instructions

Prepare the Fruit Purees

  • Puree the mango chunks in a blender until smooth. Set aside.
  • Blend the cubed watermelon until you have a juice consistency. Set aside.
  • Blend the grapes until smooth. If the grape skins are tough, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove them. Set aside.

Layer the Popsicles

  • Pour about half of the mango puree into each popsicle mold.
  • Layer the watermelon juice on top of the mango, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top of each mold.
  • Top each mold with the grape juice, filling to the rim.

Freeze and Enjoy

  • Insert popsicle sticks into each mold or secure the lids if your molds come with them.
  • Freeze for at least 5-6 hours, or until completely solid.
  • Once frozen, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to help release the popsicles.
  • Enjoy your delicious and healthy fruit ice pops!

Recipe Notes

Expert Tips

  • For a sweeter popsicle, add a touch of honey or maple syrup to your fruit purees. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste.
  • Experiment with other fruits! Peaches, strawberries, and blueberries would all make delicious additions or substitutes.
  • To prevent freezer burn, cover the tops of your popsicle molds with plastic wrap before freezing. This is particularly helpful if you are making them in advance.
  • If you don't have popsicle molds, you can use small paper cups and insert wooden dowels or spoons.
