Ingredients
- 40 Biscuits (20 Parle G and 20 Hide and Seek)
- 1 cup Milk (full cream)
- Powdered sugar (to taste)
- 1 packet Plain Eno (or Fruit Salt )
- 3 tbsp Nuts (chopped, optional)
- 7 inch Baking tin

Instructions
- Crush the biscuits separately in a mixer to get powdered biscuits. Add powdered sugar, chopped nuts (optional) in crushed biscuits and mix well.
- Add lukewarm milk & mix without lumps to get a smooth batter. You can add more or less milk to adjust the consistency of the batter.
- Before adding Eno or fruit salt in a cake mix, bring water to boil in a steamer or cooker or any heavy bottomed pan.
- Add Eno in the cake batter and mix well to get smooth mixture without any lumps. Transfer the batter to the greased baking tin.
- Put the small, thick steel plate or stand at the bottom of the cooker or pan and then place the baking tin on it.
- Cover the pan and steam for first 15 minutes on high flame. Do not forget to remove the whistle of the pressure cooker.
- Steam the cake batter for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame. After 10 to 15 minutes check the cake by inserting a toothpick in the center of the it. If toothpick comes out clean, then cake is perfectly cooked.
- Remove the tin from the pan and let it cool completely. Once it cooled, remove the cake from the tin.
- Decorate the cake with chocolate sauce, nuts, cherries, grated chocolate or as you wish.
- Cut and serve delicious spongy and soft biscuit cake that it just melted in our mouth.
Recipe Notes
- You can bake it in the oven.
- Pre-heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180º C.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- You can also microwave the cake.
