Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup Rawa
  • 1 cup Sour Curd
  • Water as required
  • 1 Beetroot grated
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • leaves Curry some
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 sachet Eno fruit salt

Instructions
 

  • First soak rawa and curd fir about 20 minutes .
  • After 20 minutes add grated beetroot into rawa and curd , mix all ingredients well . Add some water for getting idli batter consistency. Add salt to the batter and mix well .
  • Grease idli moulds properly . Now add eno into the idli batter , fold gently . Immidiately pour batter into the idli moulds .

  • Steam it for about 15 - 20 minutes . Beetroot idli are ready . Let it cool . Then cut idlis into small pieces .

  • For tempering - take a pan add some oil , now add mustard seeds , when they starts crackle , add curry leaves . Turn off the gas . Pour this tempering on idli .serve hot with any chutney of your choice .
