Dry Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Milk condensed milk recommended for richer flavor, but regular milk works too.
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted
  • 3 tbsp Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Mix-ins

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Chocolate Chips or chopped chocolate; adjust to your preference

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mug.

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.

Combine Wet and Dry

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the mug with the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until a smooth batter forms. There should be no lumps.

Add Chocolate Chips

  • Stir in the chocolate chips.

Microwave

  • Microwave on high for 1 minute. Then reduce power to 50% and microwave for another 30-60 seconds, or until the cake is cooked through but still slightly gooey in the center. Cooking time may vary depending on your microwave.
