Ingredients
 

Chicken marination and oats masala powder ingredients

  • 1 Chicken washed and cut into medium size pieces
  • 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oats Masala
  • 2 tablespoon Curd
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Oats Masala Powder Ingredients

  • 1 cup Oats Rolled Oats
  • 1 pinch Mace Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/2 Cinnamon Stick

Chicken Gravy Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pinch Mace Powder
  • 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp Dried Fenugreek and mint leaves
  • 1 Onion peeled and chopped into pieces
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chilli Powder Optional depending on the spice levels
  • 3 tablespoon Puree vegetable
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable stock
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tablespoon Curd
  • 1/2 tablespoon Biryani masala
  • Coriander for garnishing
  • Mint for garnishing

Chicken Skewer Ingredients

  • 250 gm Chicken Marinated
  • 1 1/2 Masala tandoori masala preferrebly
  • Desi Ghee or butter or oil, few

Instructions
 

Chicken Marination

  • In a bowl add the chicken pieces and the above-mentioned ingredients, mix it thoroughly, close it with a lid and refrigerate it for 24 hrs.

Preparation of Oats Masala

  • Dry Roast all the above ingredients, Once it cooled down transfer it to a mixer jar, blend it into a powder and
  • Transfer it to a glass jar and store it for up to a year
  • Chicken Curry Preparation:-
  • Switch on the stove, keep the pan and keep the flame between medium to low
  • Add three tablespoons of oil
  • Add a pinch of Mace Powder
  • Add half a teaspoon of Ajwain Seeds, Dry Fenugreek Leaves and Dry Mint Leaves
  • Add one onion(cut into pieces) and three green chillies, Half a teaspoon of Turmeric and One teaspoon of salt, mix it thoroughly and cook for sometime
  • Now add the marinated chicken pieces
  • Mix it thoroughly
  • Close the lid for about five minutes
  • After 5 minutes remove the lid and Add Half a tablespoon of Ginger Garlic Paste and Mix it thoroughly.
  • Add the vegetable water, mix it and cook for 10 minutes
  • Keep Stirring during intervals and close the lid for five minutes Let it Cook.
  • After 10 minutes, Add Three tablespoons of vegetable Puree and Mix it.
  • Add two tablespoons of curd and half a teaspoon of biryani masala. Mix it, and close the lid.
  • Cook for about ten minutes and switch off the stove.
  • Garnish it with mint and coriander
  • Chicken Kebab
  • Switch on the stove and keep it on medium flame
  • keep the pan. Once the pan is heated add a few drops of ghee or oil and spread it.
  • Keep the kebab skewer
  • Keep rotating during intervals by holding the tips of the bamboo stick for about 15 minutes and Switch off the stove.

Chicken Thali Preparation

  • White rice with ghee, keep the kebab skewers, Add the chicken curry, Chicken thali is ready.

Recipe Notes

  1. Marinate the chicken for 24 hrs.
  2. Cook the Kebab Chicken along with the gravy so that flavour of the kebab enhances and makes it more delicious.
  3. Continue to rotate the kebab and keep mixing the gravy
  4. Now remove the partially cooked kebab skewer and keep it aside.
