Masala Dosa is a popular South Indian Breakfast which is now famous all over the world. It is a healthy and filling breakfast. I have used F2F Idli/Dosa Batter to prepare the dosa.

Ingredients
  

  • F2F Idli/Dosa Batter - 2 cups
  • Salt
  • Refined Oil - 4 to 5 tablespoon
  • Boiled potato - 3 to 4 medium size
  • Onion - one big sliced
  • Curry Leaves - 4 to 5
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Sambar Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli - 1 chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in a wok and add curry leaves and mustard seeds.
  • Once they start crackling add sliced onions and fry till they are translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder, sambar powder, green chilli and salt to taste and mix well.
  • Next add boiled potatoes and mash them well to mix with the masalas. Add little water and cook for some time
  • When the water dries up, switch off gas and keep it aside.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan and take big ladle full of batter and spread in a circular motion on the pan. Cook on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Drizzle oil on all the the sides and cook for some more time until the sides start coming out.
  • When one side is golden brown, turn the other side and cook for few minutes. You may drizzle some oil.
  • Once both the sides are well cooked take it out from the pan and stuff it with potato stuffing which was prepared earlier and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
  • Follow the above steps for the remaining batter.
