Ingredients
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/4 cup Urad Dal
- 1 cup Water
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- Filling or masala for masala
- 2 Potatoes peeled, boiled and mashed roughly
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 Green Chillies chopped
- 5-6 leaves Curry
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Chilly Powder
- 1/2 tsp Sambar Powder
- 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
- 2 tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Dry roast the oats in a pan for 2-3 minutes. Let it cool down and powder it in a grinder. Keep it aside.
- Take the urad dal and grind it to powder. Keep aside.
- Take the powdered oats and powdered urad dal in a mixing bowl and mix well
- Add Salt and water to it and make a smooth thin pouring consistency batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- For Making the masala filling : Heat few drops of oil. Add the mustard seeds and let it crackle.
- Add the onion, green chilly, curry leaves and saute them on low heat till the onion turns soft.
- Add salt, red chilly powder, sambar powder and mashed potatoes.
- Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes and take off the heat.
- Heat a non-stick pan on low flame. Pour a ladle full of batter on the pan.
- Spread the batter from centre to the sides to get a round shape. Cook till the edges turn brown.
- Now add some filling in the centre and fold over.
- Fold and bring both the sides in the centre, cook for 2-3 minutes and take off the heat. Serve with any chutney of your choice.
