Ingredients
  

  • Filter coffee powder 2 tablespoon
  • Milk 1/2 litre
  • Sugar 3 tablespoon
  • Water 100ml

  • We have a special utensil for preparing coffee decoction called as filter . It has an upper segment with sieved and lower segment for collection of decoction

  • Add 2 tablespoons of coffee powder in the upper segment and press gently.

  • Boil water till it starts steaming. Pour water over the coffee powder in circular motion till the brim and close the lid

  • Wait for 15 minutes and collect the decoction.

  • Mean while boil milk. Add 3/4th tablespoon of sugar in a glass and pour frothy milk over it

  • Now add the decoction to the milk according to the strength you prefer.

  • In authentic restaurants filter coffee is served in a brass tumbler rested on a wide cup known as DABARA set. The person drinking mixes the coffee with the help of tumbler and DABARA .
