Raw Mango Rasam is a very tasty variant of the traditional tomato rasam which is a soup that is extensively made in every south indian Homes.Raw Mango Rasam is very healthy and tastes delicious with the right amount of sourness imparted from the mangoes. It's definitely going to be a favourite of every mango lover!

Ingredients
  

  • 20 gm Tomato
  • 50 gm Mango raw
  • 1-2 tsp Salt or as per taste
  • leaves Curry
  • 1 Red Chillies dry whole
  • 10 Whole Black Pepper or corns corns
  • 1/2 tsp Seeds of corriander whole
  • 1/4 tsp Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • To make the rasam masala powder, Roast black pepper, whole coriander seeds and cumin seeds. Grind them together.
  • Boil raw mangoes in water. When the mango is cooked, squeeze out the pulp. This will be the raw mango puree
  • Boil tomatoes with ginger, garlic and rasam powder, strain it. Add raw mango puree
  • Pour oil into the wok, add mustard, whole dry red chilli, curry leaves and turmeric powder and then pour it into the tomato mixture. Add salt to it. Mix.Serve hot with Rice.
