Steamed Spinach Discs

Spinach is usually not eaten by a kid because of it's taste and this is the reason why i tried to merge it's flavour with gram flour and eggs there by neutralizing the taste. It is an awesome innovative idea by me for the kids especially and the adults too who dislike this green veggie. The added benefit is that it is steamed and not fried, hence making it even more healthy. These discs are made instantly and that too without eno. Absolutely fit for the evening snack idea and also makes for a yummy tiffin box idea. Enjoy these with any chutney or dip of your choice but khatti meethi imli chutney makes an ideal choice for this. Happy Cooking friends.

Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a wide mouthed bowl and make a thick but flowing batter. Add little water if needed.
- More or less water depends upon the quality of the gram flour. I used nearly 3-4 tbsp of water. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile grease the idli plates and heat up the water in a vessel for steaming.
- Pour 2 tbsp of the batter in each groove of the plate and steam for around 20 mins.
- Trust me they are so soft and so yummy that no one will ever find out that there is spinach in them.
- Serve them steaming hot with imli chutney and any other dip of your choice. I served these for dinner with green chutney and imli chutney both.
