Matra is a very famous street food of Delhi. It is eaten with kulcha or can be eaten as a snack type. Matras are very sour, spicy and sour in taste. Means Matra tastes very gud specually Imli wale Matra

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bowl over night soaked Matra or white peas
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tspn ginger cut into julliens
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspn yeklow chilli powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tblspn kala chat masala
  • Few chopped corriander leaves
  • 3 tblspn Imli water

Instructions
 

  • Drain the water of soaked matra and pressire cook them for 2 whistles. After that let them cook on simmer flame for 15 mins. Now in the mean while chopp onion, tomato, green chilli and corriander lBoil 1 cup of water and put Imli in it
  • After that take out extract from it. Keep it aside. Now take a mixing bowl and put the matra in it. Next add chopped onion, tomatoes, ginger julliens, green chilli and all the dry ingredients masalas.
  • Now add Imli water in it. Mix it properly so that the masalas are combined to Matras. Garnish it with ginger julliens and corriander leaves.
