An amazing combination of South Indian idli with curd and chutneys . A cold preparation of Dahi vada where idli is replaced with vada. Its a refreshing and healthy chat with a south Indian touch. A simple and quickly made snack specially for summer season.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 piece ready idli can be fresh or leftover
  • 1 cup fresh curd
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
  • 3 tbsp spicy green coriander chutney
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Chat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • For garnish - 1 tsp tutti frutti
  • 2 tsp nylon sev

Instructions
 

  • Prepare fresh idli or refresh them in steam if using leftover.
  • Sieve the curd in the muslin cloth to remove extra water.
  • Beat the curd with a spoon and mix 2 tsp powdered sugar.
  • Take a serving dish, place 2 idlis, cover them with enough smooth and sweetened curd.
  • Spread sweet tamarind chutney and spicy coriander chutney.
  • Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, chat masala and roasted cumin seeds powder one by one.
  • Garnish with tutti frutti and nylon sev. Enjoy refreshing and healthy chat.
