Ingredients
  

  • Suji / Semolina / Rawa 1 cup
  • Ghee or clarified butter 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Kesar or saffron strands 1/2 teaspoon dissloved in milk
  • Finely chopped dry fruits approximately 1/2 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder 1 pinch

  • Basic ingredients required for Rawa Kesari

  • Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add Suji . Saute' on low heat till golden in colour

  • Add dry fruits, 1- 2 cup of water , Saffron strands dissloved milk to sauteed Suji . Mix well everything and cook covered for next 5 minutes.

  • Add sugar , mix well and cook covered again for next 5 minutes and Rawa Kesari is ready to serve
