Suji / Semolina / Rawa 1 cup
Ghee or clarified butter 1 cup
Sugar 1 and 1/2 cup
Kesar or saffron strands 1/2 teaspoon dissloved in milk
Finely chopped dry fruits approximately 1/2 tablespoon
Cardamom powder 1 pinch
Instructions
Basic ingredients required for Rawa Kesari
Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add Suji . Saute' on low heat till golden in colour
Add dry fruits, 1- 2 cup of water , Saffron strands dissloved milk to sauteed Suji . Mix well everything and cook covered for next 5 minutes.
Add sugar , mix well and cook covered again for next 5 minutes and Rawa Kesari is ready to serve
Garnish as per choice and serve . I have used traditional moulds to give it shape
