Vegan Chocolate Tart With Chia Seeds - Plattershare - Recipes, food stories and food lovers
This quick dessert was in my to-do list since quiet some days. Unfortunately, the unavailability of all the ingredients in my kitchen pantry and free time was causing he delay. This dessert has the goodness of chia seeds, crunchiness of walnuts, almonds, cashew , chewiness of raisins , apricots and sweetness of honey . Overall, a sin free dessert which is also happens to be Vegan. A perfect dessert for all the chocolate lovers. Easy Hassel free and ready in minutes

  • 1 cup of dry fruits - equal portions of walnuts, almonds, cashew , raisins , dried apricots
  • 1 cup of dry dessicated coconut
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds - I used chia for the liaison
  • 1 cup dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp soy or almond milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts


  • Mix dry fruits, honey, chia seeds and dessicated coconut together and grind to a coarse thick paste.
  • Set it on your tart tin by pressing on all sides creating an even uniform layer
  • Melt the chocolate in double boiler.
  • Add coconut oil, coconut milk and walnuts.Mix everything well.
  • Add honey or maple syrup if you want it more sweet.
  • Beat with a fork and fill your tart.
  • Let it set in the freezer 2 to 3 hours.You can slice it and enjoy


Its a vegan dish.
