Tawa Paneer is a highly famous Indian dish made with fresh Cottage cheese, ginger paste and flavorful spices.
Yield / Serves
250gm cottage cheese (cut into bite sizes)
1 teaspoon ginger paste
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chat masala powder
1 tablespoon clarified butter
1 tablespoon cooking oil for shallow fry
1 tablespoon coriander leaves for garnishing
Take ingredients in bowl (ginger, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chat masala powder and clarified butter) mix it well till it turn into fine paste.
Marinate paneer pieces in it and keep aside for 30minutes
Heat cooking oil on non-stick pan, shallow fry marinated paneer from all the sides till done crisp. Transfer it to a plate on paper towel.
Garnish some coriander leaves and serve this yummy tawa paneer with green Chutney, raw onion slices and lemon.
