  • 250 gm cottage cheese cut into bite sizes
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder roasted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 tbsp Butter clarified
  • 1 tbsp Oil for shallow fry
  • 1 tbsp Coriander for garnishing


  • Take ingredients in bowl (ginger, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, chat masala powder and clarified butter).
  • Mix it well till it turn into fine paste.
  • Marinate paneer pieces in it and keep aside for 30minutes
  • Heat cooking oil on non-stick pan, shallow fry marinated paneer from all the sides till done crisp. Transfer it to a plate on paper towel.
  • Garnish some coriander leaves and serve this yummy tawa paneer with green chutney, raw onion slices and lemon.
