Ingredients

- 2 cup Rolled Oats
- 2 Potato boiled and mashed
- 1 cup Carrot finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Ginger finely chopped, or substitute with 1/2 medium onion; garlic paste
- 1-2 Chili Pepper finely chopped, green, or substitute with 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp Salt or 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumb neutral granules such as breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes
For Frying & Serving:
- 2 tbsp Oil vegetable or canola oil
- Optional Tomato Sauce for serving
- Optional Chutney for serving, green
Instructions
Prepare the Vegetable Filling
- Add oil to a heated frying pan. Add chopped carrots, ginger-garlic paste (or onion), and stir-fry until softened. Add rolled oats, salt (or garam masala), and green chilies (or cilantro). Stir well to combine.
Prepare the Potato Dough
- In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes. Season with salt.
Assemble and Fry the Chops
- Make small balls from the mashed potato mixture. Flatten each ball slightly and fill the center with the prepared vegetable mixture. Shape into chops. Coat the chops with neutral granules.
