Recipe Notes

Expert Tips for the Best Mango Raita

  • Use the Ripest Mangoes: The flavor of this raita hinges on the sweetness of the mangoes. Choose mangoes that are perfectly ripe and fragrant for the best results.
  • Adjust the Spice: The amount of green chili can be adjusted to your preference. If you prefer a milder raita, use less chili or remove the seeds.
  • Chill Before Serving: Allowing the raita to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving enhances the flavors and creates a delightful refreshing experience.
  • Garnish for Presentation: A sprinkle of chopped cilantro or a few extra curry leaves add a pop of color and enhance the overall presentation.
