Aloo masala is a nice compliment for any kind of dosa. The Aloo Masala can be rolled in the dosa or served as a side dish.
Yield / Serves
3 large potatoes (peeled, boiled and mashed)
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
Some curry leaves broken
3 green chillies finely chopped
Some fresh chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons oil
Heat oil in pan, splutter mustard seeds, curry leaves when both stop spluttering.
Add green chillies n saute for 15seconds. Add salt n turmeric powder saute for 10seconds.
Add mashed potatoes n mix really well. Finally add coriander leaves. When potatoes turn Yellow in color. Switch off the flame.
Potato filling for dosa is ready to fill in dosa or serve with dosa.
U can also add 1 medium size chopped onion after spluttering mustard seeds n curry leaves (Step:1)
