  • 1 cup Peanuts raw, unsalted peanuts are recommended for the best flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

For the Peanut Butter

  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 bar Chocolate kitkat or your preferred chocolate bar, roughly chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp Honey Or Maple Syrup adjust to your desired sweetness level., optional

Roast the Peanuts

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add the peanuts and stir frequently until they are evenly roasted and lightly browned. This takes about 5-7 minutes, depending on your stove.
  • Remove from heat and let the peanuts cool slightly.

Make the Peanut Butter

  • Transfer the roasted peanuts to a food processor or high-powered blender.
  • Add the salt and optional honey or maple syrup.
  • Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take several minutes.
  • Roughly chop the chocolate bar.
  • Add the chopped chocolate to the peanut butter and pulse a few times to incorporate. Do not over-process, or the chocolate will melt excessively.
